Tournament Format:
- Type: Scratch Tournament (no handicaps) following USBC rules.
- Oil Pattern: Sport shot oil pattern.
- Team Composition: Baker Trio Format (each team consists of 3 bowlers).
- Entry Fee: $180 per team ($60 per bowler). Breakdown of entry fee - Prize fund $120, Lineage and expenses $60.
Qualifying Round:
- Number of Games: 8 games.
- Scoring: Teams will bowl in Baker format, where each bowler on the team bowls a set of frames (e.g., Bowler 1 bowls frames 1, 4, 7, and 10; Bowler 2 bowls frames 2, 5, and 8; Bowler 3 bowls frames 3, 6, and 9). Must keep same lineup entire tournament.
- Advancement: The top 4 teams based on total pinfall after 8 games will advance to the step ladder finals.
Step Ladder Finals:
- Format: The 4th seed team plays the 3rd seed team in a single game match. The winner plays the 2nd seed team. The winner of that match plays the 1st seed team in the final match.
- Scoring: Each match in the step ladder finals will be one game, using the Baker format.
Tiebreakers:
- In Qualifying Rounds: If there is a tie for any position affecting the top 4 teams or cashing spot, the tie will be broken by an 8th, 9th, and 10th frame rolloff. Each bowler will bowl their designated frames in the Baker format.
- In Step Ladder Finals: If a match ends in a tie, an 8th, 9th, and 10th frame rolloff will determine the winner.
Side Pots:
- Side pots will be available for interested participants. Details and entry for side pots will be managed on the day of the tournament.
General Rules:
- Check-In: All teams must check in at least 30 minutes prior to the start of the tournament.
- USBC Rules: The tournament will adhere strictly to USBC rules. Any disputes will be resolved in accordance with these rules.
- Conduct: All participants are expected to display good sportsmanship and respect towards other bowlers and officials. Unsportsmanlike conduct may result in disqualification.
- Equipment: All bowling equipment must meet USBC specifications. Any equipment found to be non-compliant will result in disqualification of the team.
- Tournament director has final say on all bowling decisions.
