Tournament Format:

  1. Type: Scratch Tournament (no handicaps) following USBC rules.
  2. Oil Pattern: Sport shot oil pattern.
  3. Team Composition: Baker Trio Format (each team consists of 3 bowlers).
  4. Entry Fee: $180 per team ($60 per bowler). Breakdown of entry fee - Prize fund $120, Lineage and expenses $60.

Qualifying Round:

  1. Number of Games: 8 games.
  2. Scoring: Teams will bowl in Baker format, where each bowler on the team bowls a set of frames (e.g., Bowler 1 bowls frames 1, 4, 7, and 10; Bowler 2 bowls frames 2, 5, and 8; Bowler 3 bowls frames 3, 6, and 9). Must keep same lineup entire tournament.
  3. Advancement: The top 4 teams based on total pinfall after 8 games will advance to the step ladder finals.

Step Ladder Finals:

  1. Format: The 4th seed team plays the 3rd seed team in a single game match. The winner plays the 2nd seed team. The winner of that match plays the 1st seed team in the final match.
  2. Scoring: Each match in the step ladder finals will be one game, using the Baker format.

Tiebreakers:

  1. In Qualifying Rounds: If there is a tie for any position affecting the top 4 teams or cashing spot, the tie will be broken by an 8th, 9th, and 10th frame rolloff. Each bowler will bowl their designated frames in the Baker format.
  2. In Step Ladder Finals: If a match ends in a tie, an 8th, 9th, and 10th frame rolloff will determine the winner.

Side Pots:

  1. Side pots will be available for interested participants. Details and entry for side pots will be managed on the day of the tournament.

General Rules:

  1. Check-In: All teams must check in at least 30 minutes prior to the start of the tournament.
  2. USBC Rules: The tournament will adhere strictly to USBC rules. Any disputes will be resolved in accordance with these rules.
  3. Conduct: All participants are expected to display good sportsmanship and respect towards other bowlers and officials. Unsportsmanlike conduct may result in disqualification.
  4. Equipment: All bowling equipment must meet USBC specifications. Any equipment found to be non-compliant will result in disqualification of the team.
  5. Tournament director has final say on all bowling decisions.
