Pins for Wins: Red, White, and Baker Stars and Strikes Bowling Tournament

General Information

• Location: Crest Lanes, Maryville, Tennessee
• Date: July 7th
• Time: 10am start time - Registration opens 9am

Entry Details

• Entry Fee: $60 per bowler / $120 per team
• Breakdown of Entry Fee: $86 prize fund - $34 lineage and expenses (these are non negotiable and are put in place to ensure a well run tournament).

Tournament Format

1. Qualifying Round:

• Each team will bowl 5 games across 10 lanes.
• The format is Baker Doubles, where each bowler alternates frames within a single game.
• Scores will be cumulative across the 5 games to determine standings.

1. Oil Pattern:

• The tournament will use a sport shot oil pattern, known for its challenging conditions.

1. Finals:

• The top 4 teams from the qualifying round will advance to a step ladder format finals.
• Step Ladder Format:
• Match 1: 4th place team vs. 3rd place team
• Match 2: Winner of Match 1 vs. 2nd place team
• Championship Match: Winner of Match 2 vs. 1st place team
• Each match in the finals will be a single Baker game.

1. Tiebreakers:

• Any ties for advancement to the finals or within the finals will be resolved by a 9th and 10th frame rolloff.
• In the rolloff, each bowler will bowl one frame in the same order as the Baker format.

Rules

• Governing Rules: The tournament will adhere to USBC (United States Bowling Congress) rules.
• Eligibility: All participants must be USBC members in good standing.
• Conduct: All bowlers are expected to exhibit good sportsmanship and adhere to Crest Lanes’ code of conduct.

Prizes

• Prize Distribution: prize fund paid out in full at end of the tournament.
• Side Pots: $10 team brackets, $20 high game, $20 high 3 game series (3 consecutive games during qualifying).
