Hampton Lanes Legends of Lanetalk Championship

Date: October 29th, starting at 10:30 AM

Check-in Opens: 9:30 AM

Oil Pattern: Sport Shot Pattern (Announced a week prior to the event)

Additional Prize: The winner will have their picture featured on Lanetalk's social media pages.

Qualification Round:

• Each participant will bowl 4 games in the qualifying round across 8 lanes.

• Scoring will be scratch, meaning no handicap will be applied.

Cut to Finals:

• The top 4 bowlers based on their total pinfall in the qualifying round will advance to the step ladder finals.

Step Ladder Finals:

• The step ladder finals will determine the overall winner.

• The 4th seed will face the 3rd seed in the first match, with the winner facing the 2nd seed, and the winner of that match will face the top seed for the championship.

• All step ladder matches will be one-game, single-elimination rounds.

Side Tournament:

• There will be a Lanetalk app side tournament available to all participants for an additional $5 entry fee.

• The side tournament will be based on the highest consecutive 3-game series within the 4-game qualifying round. Bowlers can choose either games 1, 2, and 3 or games 2, 3, and 4 for their side tournament series.

• The winner of the side tournament will take the entire side pot.

Additional Side Pots:

• Bowlers may also participate in $5 brackets and a $10 high game pot if they choose to do so.

Rules and Regulations:

• The tournament follows USBC rules and regulations.

• Bowlers are responsible for abiding by the code of conduct and sportsmanship throughout the event.

• Any disputes or issues will be resolved by tournament officials, and their decisions will be final.

Prize Distribution:

• The prize distribution will be determined based on the number of participants and the entry fees collected.

• 1 in 4 bowlers cash.

Entry Fee:

• $75 entry fee

• Breakdown $51 prize fund - $24 lineage and expense.

Changes and Disputes:

• The tournament organizers reserve the right to make changes to the format or rules if necessary.

• Any disputes will be resolved by the tournament director, and their decision will be final.
