Crest Lanes Candy Cane Classic Bowling Tournament

This will be a 4 game qualifying singles tournament with the top 4 bowlers going into an elimination style format finals. Finals will be all 4 bowlers bowling at the same time with the 2 lowest game scores eliminated after the first round and then a single game elimination match between the two remaining bowlers. 3rd place is determined by the higher game among the eliminated bowlers. All ties are determined by a one ball roll off.

Rules:

1. Eligibility: The tournament is open to all bowlers who are members of the United States Bowling Congress (USBC).
2. Bowled on a sport shot oil pattern.
3. Format: The tournament will be a singles format. The tournament will consist of four games of qualifying, followed by an elimination-style format for the top four bowlers.
4. Qualifying: Each bowler will bowl four games of qualifying moving a pair to the right after every game. The total pinfall will determine the finals. The top four bowlers based on total pinfall will advance to the elimination rounds.
5. Elimination Rounds: The elimination rounds will be played in a head-to-head-to-head-to-head format. The bowlers with the 2 lowest total pinfall after game 1 will be eliminated. The remaining two bowlers will bowl a single elimination match to determine the champion.
6. Lane Assignments: Lane assignments will be assigned at check in on the day of the tournament.
7. Ties: In the event of a tie, the bowers will bowl a one ball roll off.
8. Cash Ratio will be 1:5 and prize fund will be returned 100 percent.
9. Breakdown of the entry fee - lineage and expenses $39 prize fund $21 Lineage and Expenses.
10. Protests: Any protests must be made in writing to the tournament director within 24 hours of the incident. The decision of the tournament director is final.
11. USBC Rules: All USBC rules and regulations will apply to this tournament.
12. Side pots will include $10 high game, $5 brackets, $5 300 game pot (we will match the dollar amount of entries for this and anyone who shoots 300 wins the money. If no one shoots 300 the non matched funds will roll over to the next tournament).
